Miguel Morrissette is an Assistant Deputy Minister for the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement with the Government of Saskatchewan. Miguel’s portfolio is responsible for the planning and construction of the province’s major construction projects in a number of sectors, including Healthcare, Education, and Corrections. Miguel has been with the Government of Saskatchewan for 17 years in various capacities. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Regina.

 Miguel has worked in 7 different Ministries/Agencies with the Government of Saskatchewan, including Treasury Board (Ministry of Finance), and Advanced Education.  In his spare time between desperately trying to keep projects on budget and advancing swiftly, he enjoys backcountry hiking and canoeing, and playing sports and watching movies with his two boys, Samson and Louis, and his wife Billie-Jo.
